A large part of my practice is devoted to helping developers and investors through the entire development process, including acquisition, entity formation, financing, subdivision, dispute resolution, and sales.

My practice is focused on real estate property acquisition, financing, development, disposition, and commercial real estate transactions; commercial leasing; residential and business condominium development; corporate matters (including contracts and business sales); and homeowners and condominium association counsel and representation.

Significant real estate transactions often involve multiple parties, lenders, and legal counsel.  A large part of my role is working with these other parties to efficiently complete each transaction to meet the goals and objectives of our clients.

In real estate development, I represent developers, borrowers, and others in project entity formation (including single asset LLCs and corporations), securing financing, acquiring and subdividing land, zoning matters, and ultimate sales and dispositions. My clients include developers of all sizes in the  Puget Sound market, ranging from those building a few houses or a single commercial development to those developing projects consisting of hundreds of homes or condominium units.

I have represented clients in the development of business parks and approximately 75 different condominium projects.  In these matters I represent clients in negotiations, prepare the necessary acquisition documents and schedules, assist in legal due diligence matters, prepare condominium formation and disclosure documents, and provide legal counsel for unit sales. I also provide general counsel services to dozens of community associations in matters such as property disputes, easements, architectural disputes, CC&R modifications, corporate governance, and collection matters.
