Kevin S. MacDougall

Litigation and Construction Attorney

Litigation can be disruptive for businesses and individuals, often causing loss of valuable time and resources, not to mention peace of mind. When disputes arise, I work closely with clients to assess their goals and potential risks to develop resolution strategies that allow them to get back to work and their personal lives. When voluntary resolution is not possible, I strive to provide a resolute and successful courtroom presence that is both efficient and economical.

My practice largely focuses on commercial litigation and disputes. I have significant experience in complex litigation, construction litigation, and matters involving contractual, premises liability, and personal injury issues. I have also represented clients in real property, employment, consumer protection, product liability, and toxic tort matters.

My clients range from individuals and family-owned businesses to publicly traded companies, and I have represented clients in all stages of litigation, including mediations, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and trials in both state and federal courts.

I worked for many years as outside counsel for a national railway company providing a litigation presence, as well as counsel on a wide variety of legal issues to local company management and employees. During that time, I also served multiple years as a Young Attorneys Executive Advisory Board Member for the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
